Micah Lam

Micah has actively participated in a broad spectrum of competitive music festivals, concerto auditions, and adjudications across international, national, provincial, and regional platforms. His concerto auditions include winning the Czech International Concerto Competition with an upcoming soloist engagement with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, winning the North York Music Festival Concerto Audition with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra, First Place in the International Music Festival & Competition (IMFC) Piano Concerto division, and honours in the Ontario Provincial Competition (OMFA).

On the national and provincial stage, he earned First Place in the Developing Artist Stream at the National Music Festival (FCMF), represented Ontario as a National Round participant in the Canadian Music Competition (CMC), and achieved multi-year honours including First Place in Piano Duet at the OMFA Provincial Finals. His regional festival participation spans consecutive trophies, scholarships, and first prizes at the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival, North York Music Festival, Yip's Music Festival, CCC International Music Festival, and Unionville Music Competition, alongside international recognition at Nouvelles Étoiles (France) and the London Classical Music Competition (UK). Complementing these competitive experiences, Micah has completed his Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations with First Class Honours with Distinction, culminating in the ARCT Piano Practical diploma.
